We offer quality systems for a range of aeration systems. Our expertise in Surface and Diffused Aeration ensures that each solution is tailored to meet the unique operational needs, maximizing the effectiveness of waste management practices.

Agricultural Aeration Systems offers specialized solutions for effective manure aeration. Recognizing that diverse manure types require unique systems, we tailor our services to meet the distinctive needs of each operation. By focusing on specific applications, we ensure optimal performance and efficiency in every project.

Our expertise includes consulting on diverse aeration systems that maximize effectiveness. We provide comprehensive evaluations, design, installation, and service to meet your manure management challenges. Whether you need diffused aeration systems that circulate stagnant water and vent harmful gases, or surface aeration to enhance oxygenation, we deliver solutions that improve manure quality.

The System injects compressed air into the manure at specific points via non-return valves. The oxygen that flows through the valve creates a bubble and as it rises through the manure it helps to break it down and ensure that it remains in a liquid state.

The primary benefit of EASYFIX Manure Technology is that it is proven to reduce ammonia emissions by 51%. Conversely, it assists greatly in the increased production of nutrients such as Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) in the manure.

The liquid state in which the manure finds itself eliminates the need for agitation which, crucially, makes for safer environments for both animals and farmers alike.

With increasing regulations on farming practices such as nutrient management, farmers need to maximize the efficiency of their manure and rely less on the use of artificial fertilizers.

EASYFIX Manure Technology benefits farmers in their quest for lower emissions, reduced carbon footprint and increased manure nutrients, while savings on artificial fertilizers will help improve overall farm-profit.

Composting

We offer customized solutions for effective compost management through sophisticated aeration systems. These systems ensure rapid decomposition, significantly reducing odors and emissions from compost piles while efficiently transforming organic waste into valuable resources. Our approach not only enhances environmental health but also supports sustainable agricultural practices by producing high-quality compost effortlessly.

Composting is an age-old method of recycling organic waste into valuable soil amendments. Traditional methods often involve frequent turning of compost piles to ensure adequate aeration. However, a modern solution has emerged to simplify and enhance the composting process for large-scale operations.

NO TURNING REQUIRED

Most people believe that compost needs to be turned to maintain aerobic conditions. However, when air is introduced into an active compost pile by turning, the oxygen level in the pile drops off very quickly, often to less than 1% oxygen content within 30 to 45 minutes.

For this reason, “turning the pile” is an expensive and ineffective.

BENEFITS of COMPOST AERATION

Mitigates impacts to surface and ground water resources.

Produces high quality compost in 30 - 60 day.

Eliminates pathogens, parasites, and weed seeds.

No odors, no impact to air quality, reduced volatile organic compounds and greenhouse gases.

No Vectors like rodents, flies, and birds.

No pile turning. Greatly reduced cost of labor, fuel, and equipment use / maintenance.

The Ecodrum system is a proven technology, successfully installed on poultry, hog, meat processing, slaughterhouse, hemp and food waste operations throughout world.

The Ecodrum™ suits production at any scale and provides these advantages:

·         10 years warranty on our drums (manufacture 2025 and on ward)

·         Clean and simple to operate

·         Low-cost operation

·         Reduces odor and pathogens

·         Maintains composting activity in cold weather

·         Eliminates ground and water contamination

·         Produces a high-quality compost used as a soil enhancer

Enhancing Poultry Operations

The Poultry industry has been our focus for nearly a decade and half. Ecodrum™ is a logical solution to address both handling daily mortality and biosecurity at the farm.

Ecodrum’s patented and automated system allows the producer an easy user face that controls the number of rotations and air, so as their volume of mortality grows, they can continue to use their system throughout the grow out.

We know poultry, and the Ecodrum™ is a practical solution for any poultry operations. In many states, producers can access Natural Resources Conservation Service funds that assist producers in purchasing the equipment.

We created easy formulas, that are now adopted by the NRCS agency for sizing your operations.  We will gladly work with you to ensure the right model fits your needs.

Simplified, Funded Solutions for Hog Farmers

Ecodrum has been composting at hog operations since 2007. Our first Ecodrum™ systems went to the hog industry to assist producers with their mortality management. In 2007, Natural Resources Conservation Services approved them for funding in many states to handle hog mortality.

Ecodrum simplifies the process, by being enclosed regulates the air movement and drum rotation.  This in turn creates a better compost that meets regulatory environments.

Challenges in Meat Processing Operations

Meat Processing operations, from kill floors performing primary slaughter services to butcher shops performing cut & wrap services, deal with a wide variety of deadstock management challenges. Facing continually rising disposal costs for collection services, made worse by the decline of the hide industry, have put a strain on your operation. Add in the cost of cold storage for waste materials in between pickups, and the cost can be prohibitive.

Many meat operations still resort for the burial of deadstock materials. This practice is decreasing, and in many areas being banned due to ever increasing studies which indicate decades of decreased soil viability at the surface over these pits.

Challenges in the Aquaculture Industry

The aquaculture industry faces distinct challenges in mortality and effluent management. Ecodrum has invested significant time and resources in attending industry trade shows and conducting on-site visits at aquaculture operations worldwide to better understand these complexities. These engagements span recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), flow-through farms, and open net pen operations, providing direct insight into the operational realities producers face. From salmon and trout to tilapia and beyond, the Ecodrum™ platform is adaptable across species and production systems.

Fish mortality is inherently volatile, noxious, and presents a significant biosecurity risk. These characteristics complicate on-site storage, increase pest and predator attraction, and create operational exposure while producers await off-site disposal. Disposal services are often limited or monopolized, resulting in escalating and unpredictable costs.

At the same time, increasing regulatory restrictions on the land application of raw manure are reducing disposal options while driving costs higher.

The Ecodrum family of systems offers scalable, compliant solutions for both mortality and manure management, helping operators regain control of their waste streams while reducing risk and expense.

Innovative Aeration Technologies

We proudly offer both surface and diffused aeration systems, designed to boost oxygen levels and improve water quality through advanced techniques. Surface Aeration propels waste into the air to increase surface area and promote efficient gas exchange, making it perfect for rapid oxygen infusion.

Diffused Aeration operates through bottom aeration, employing advanced diffusers to ensure complete lagoon coverage.

This method efficiently circulates wastewater and vents harmful gases, reducing methane levels effectively. By improving the overall quality of wastewater and manure, our innovative technologies provide sustainable and efficient solutions for modern agribusiness.

Ponds - Surface & Fountain Aeration

Our aeration systems are the leading innovative technologies such as surface aerators, diffused aeration, and decorative fountains for pond care.

These integrated solutions enhance water quality, support healthy aquatic ecosystems, and boost agricultural productivity.

We are committed to continually improving our service offering to meet the diverse needs of our customers and ensure the best possible outcomes.
